This year's President's Cup Regional event will be held in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on June 14-18, 2024. You should plan on arriving on June 13. Similar in format to the scope of the other youth regional events, Missouri will nominate 20 referees and 4 referee coaches/mentors to attend based on the full number teams from Missouri that will attend. All referee and coach/mentor applications MUST BE USSF REGISTERED THROUGH MISSOURI to be considered. The event itself will pay each referee or assessor/mentor a $200.00 stipend electronically after the event from US Youth Soccer provided they stay the whole time, if they only stay for the first 3 days Midwest Regionals will pay them $100.00. Further details will be shared directly by the Regional staff AFTER you are accepted. In addition after the event, MYSA will pay each referee that stays the entire time an additional flat fee of $150.00 post event. The cost of the rooms $75.00 per person per night and based on 2 persons per room and will be paid by the state youth program beforehand. All referees and referee coaches/mentors may be required to submit waivers to attend, regardless of age. The hotel is providing breakfast each day. Lunch daily will be at the complex, with daily assignments of 2 games per official. Travel compensation is tba.
Those wishing to attend should plan on working state level President's Cup games. You must be 18 to apply or stay in a Midwest Regional Hotel for a Regional event outside Missouri, unless you attend with a parent or guardian who is also attending with you. The head of delegation will be Shane Butler SDA, and all participants must comply with Missouri requirements to attend. Those requirements include staying the whole time of the event, regardless of assignments. June 13 and 18 will probably be travel days, and per MRDP requirements car-pooling will be required where possible for travel reimbursement to mentors attending.
