Regional Futsal Referee Certification Requirements

Grade 7 – Regional Futsal Referee :
The purpose of the Grade 7 Regional Futsal Referee Course is to prepare officials for the most
competitive futsal game within a state and region. Based on the level of training provided, U.S. Soccer
recommends that these officials be assigned accordingly to best service the game.
Certification Requirements:
| Age | 18 years of age |
| Previous Game Experience | Determined by the State Referee Association Mo - Submit documentation of 50 minimum affiliated futsal games at U15 or higher, including adult games |
| Previous Grade Experience |
Determined by the State Referee Association Mo - For re-registration, have been a Grade 7 Futsal no longer than 3 years prior |

| Laws of the Game Test | Pass the Grade 7 Regional Futsal Referee Test |
| Fitness Test | Pass the Grade 7 Regional Futsal Fitness Test |
| Practical Evaluation | Mo - Passing assessment required at 16U or higher by a State Coach or higher |
Annual Re-certification Requirements:

Determined by the State Referee Association Mo - Attend a USSF Futsal (DA or other USSF affiliated) event as an event accepted Regional Futsal Referee, or documented participation in an affiliated adult or youth futsal league in Mo. |

Notes:
- All State Referee Association requirements must be made public.
- All training requirements can be completed online and/or in the classroom setting as determined by the State Referee Association and there are no minimum number of hours associated with either requirement.
- At a minimum, U.S. Soccer recommends that training includes the completion of all online training materials for the Grade 7 Regional Futsal Referee Course.
- * The passing test score is 80% and all testing requirements can be completed online and/or in the classroom setting as determined by the State Referee Association.
Mo - Recertification testing may be online only with SRC approval
Fitness Testing for Futsal Grade 7
Physical testing & FIFA requirements (Missouri 1st time administered 12-12-15)
1st Test - Endurance Stamina 1,000 meters in 4 min (Mo-in 6 min outdoor or 7 if indoor)
(5 minute rest)
2nd test - Speed 10 meters x 4 within 10 seconds; (Mo - within 15 seconds)
(5 minute rest)
3rd test - Agility Directional- 80 meters total within 20 seconds; (Mo - within 30 seconds)
10 meters forward
10 meters Sideways to left
10 meters sideways to right
10 meters backwards
repeat all 4 above once more
(5 minute rest)
4th test - Speed 10 meters x 4 within 10 seconds (Mo - within 15 seconds)
(5 minute rest)
5th test - Agility Directional- 80 meters total within 20 seconds; (Mo - within 30 seconds)
10 meters forward
10 meters Sideways to left
10 meters sideways to right
10 meters backwards
repeat all 4 above once more
